The Proprietor on her tractor
Upland Meadows Farm is located on an historic site dating from the 1700's. In 1774, Dr. James Bradish had his homestead, store, potash and blacksmith shop on the property. It is believed to have been the first store in town. Later, it became an Inn that in the 1930's served country style chicken dinners on Sundays.

Today the current home is tastefully restored and offers 3 guest rooms.

Come explore our 200 acres. Enjoy peaceful walks across our fields, hikes through our woods and climb Bryant Mountain. See the many species of birds and wildlife in our meadows and wetlands. We've spotted deer, turkeys, fox, pheasant and even bears and moose! Bicycle along country roadways lined with ancient sugar maple trees and stone walls. In the winter bring your cross country skis or snow shoes!

There are also a variety of farm animals to be seen, goats, sheep, horses, a llama and the usual four-footed household pets. Guest's pets are welcome.

Situated in a pristine area, the farm offers the peace of a quiet country setting and yet is conveniently located within an easy drive of the 5-college area, Northampton, Pittsfield, and Tanglewood, as well as many other Hampshire and Berkshire county attractions.

Our hearty breakfasts cater to special diets and offer local and homegrown fruits in season as well as homemade specialties.
